Orthopaedic surgeon Darshdeep “Ishu” Singh, DO, MS, has joined Bayhealth Orthopaedic Surgery of Dover and Milford. Board certified in orthopaedic surgery and fellowship trained in hand and upper extremity surgery, Dr. Singh is helping to expand the already robust services offered at the practice.
Bayhealth Orthopaedic Surgery is part of the Bayhealth Medical Group, a partnership of highly trained physicians, their clinical staff, and an administrative support team that operates practices throughout central and southern Delaware.

Dr. Singh will help us continue our tradition of delivering excellent care for patients in need,” said Jonathan Kates, MD, of Bayhealth Orthopaedic Surgery. The group also includes Drs. Gabriel Lewullis, Michael Mattern and Trinity Pilkington.
Dr. Singh treats a variety of disorders affecting the hands, wrists and upper extremities and uses arthroscopic or minimally invasive approaches. He cares for a variety of musculoskeletal disorders including arthritis, fractures, ligament and tendon injuries, Dupuytren's, carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, and nerve injuries.
Dr. Singh earned his medical degree from Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Vallejo, Calif., in 2005 and a master’s degree in medical education from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pa., in 2010. He completed both an osteopathic traditional internship and orthopaedic residency at Millcreek Community Hospital in Erie, Pa. Dr. Singh was fellowship trained in hand/upper extremity surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Hamot.
