The Bayhealth Cancer Center is strengthening its medical team with the recent appointment of an Ivy League trained physician.
Khanh Nguyen, MD, MA, earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics and a Master of Science in Physics, Cum Laude, from Harvard University. Dr. Nguyen earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of California-San Diego and completed an internship in Internal Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania Hospital. He served a residency in radiation oncology at the Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia.
Dr. Nguyen comes to Bayhealth from the City of Hope National Medical Center in Duarte, California where he served for six years as Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology.
“We are very fortunate to have such an experienced radiation oncologist with the most elite training to be part our team at the Bayhealth Cancer Centers,” said Bayhealth Cancer Center Administrative Director of Operations Donna Stinson. “Dr. Nguyen will help ensure that our patients have the most sophisticated treatment options and the best possible outcomes.”
Dr. Nguyen joins John Lahaniatis, MD, Medical Director of Radiation Oncology in providing state-of- the-art radiation therapy at the Bayhealth Cancer Centers at Kent General and Milford Memorial.
