Thanks to a generous donation from the Delaware Farm Bureau, the cupboards in the Ronald McDonald Room at Bayhealth Kent General are full of hearty, comforting food for our patient families.

Since 1999, the Farm Bureau has contributed to Bayhealth’s Ronald Room as part of the American Farm Bureau’s annual Food Check-Out Week, when Farm Bureaus nationwide reach out to their communities to educate them on economical meal preparation and local foods. This week also highlights the long-standing partnership between the Farm Bureau and Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Bags of toiletries and meals-to-go were also donated by Nancy Betts, from Eagles Nest Fellowship Church, in Milton. Betts serves as a Ronald McDonald House volunteer and maintains the Ronald Room at Bayhealth Kent General.
