Bayhealth welcomes Ellen Siegmund, MS HCM, OTR/L, of Salisbury, Maryland, as the new Program Director of the Inpatient Rehabilitation Center at Milford Memorial.
Siegmund comes to Bayhealth from HealthSouth Chesapeake Rehabilitation Hospital in Salisbury, MD where she served for three years as Director of Therapy Operations. Prior to her leadership role at Chesapeake, she worked as a rehabilitation services and health care management consultant in the Salisbury area. Siegmund previously held the role as the Director of Rehabilitation Services at the City of Hope National Medical Center in Duarte, CA. She has served in many leadership capacities at Mount St. Mary’s College, Apria Healthcare, and San Gabriel Valley Medical Center, all in California.
Originally from New York City NY, Siegmund grew up in the Baltimore/Catonsville, MD area. She received her bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from Towson University in Towson, MD., and her master’s degree in health care management from the University of Los Angeles. She is licensed as an occupational therapist and is certified by the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy.
Siegmund is a member of the Eastern Shore Breast Cancer Consortium, the American College of Healthcare Executives, the American Occupational Therapy Association and the Neurodevelopmental Treatment Association.
