In an event held last week at Bayhealth Kent General, Terry Murphy, Bayhealth president and CEO; John W. Paradee, chair of Bayhealth’s Board of Directors; and Lindsay Rhodenbaugh, Bayhealth Foundation president, thanked the donors whose contributions have brought the current campaign total to $6.8 million.
The event marked the beginning of the campaign’s public phase.
“We are incredibly grateful to those who have given so generously. This is a very exciting time for Bayhealth. We hope others in the community feel the energy,” said Rhodenbaugh.
Currently, the Campaign for Bayhealth is in Phase II, with a goal of $12 million. The current phase is focused primarily on Bayhealth Kent General.
Of current commitments, Bayhealth employees have contributed over $1 million and $1.7 million has been pledged to the Milford replacement facility.
Bayhealth is working with EwingCole, a nationally-recognized architecture, engineering, interior design, and planning firm, to develop the master facility plan for Milford.
