Who is eligible?
All volunteers, employees and physicians of Bayhealth Medical Center.

What photos can be entered?
All kinds of fun, educational or artistic images of good taste: Family, friends, pets, personal interests, nature/wildlife, etc. Photos must be taken by employee, volunteer or physician that is entering the contest.

Number of Entries and How to Enter
Each employee may submit 1 photo printed on photography quality paper with name, department and contact phone number attached to the back of the photo with tape (this is the only way photos will be accepted). Please save your photo on a CD for submission if the photo wins. Send printed photos via interoffice mail to Kim Wilkins in the Milford campus Marketing Communications Department.

Digital Alterations
All photographs should accurately reflect the subject matter and the scene as it appeared. Photos that have been digitally altered will be disqualified. Acceptable are: adjustments to color, contrast, brightness and sharpness; removal of dust and scratches; cropping; black and white conversions. Not acceptable are photo composites (combination of two or more photos, not of the same scene); the addition, duplication, deletion or moving of objects in the photos; or the use of artistic digital filters and effects.

Prizes
There will be 12 Grand Prize winners and twelve Honorable Mention winners. A copy of this calendar will be printed and circulated to each employee of Bayhealth. One winning photo will be featured for each month along with a description of the photo and a brief bio of the photographer. Honorable mention winners will have their photos used throughout the calendar.

Deadline
The final date for submitting photos is Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time. Winners will be notified in early November.

Judging
Photographs will be judged on originality, composition, overall impact and artistic merit.
