Mary Ann’s passion is Baking Cookies
“They’ve started calling me the ‘Cookie Lady’ at Bayhealth Kent General. Once a week, I bake my chocolate chip and vanilla cookies right at the hospital and bring them over to the patients. It always makes them smile and makes them feel good. And, when they feel good, I feel good.”

Since 2006, Linda and Rose Cataldi have worked together to visit and bring cheer to patients at Bayhealth.
“I have two 8-year-old cocker spaniels, Ernie and Penelope. Patients start by asking ‘may I see them?’ and end up asking ‘may I pet them?’ Ernie and Penelope help patients forget about their troubles and make them smile."
– Bayhealth Volunteer Linda Rothbart.

Gladys’ passion is Helping Others
“I’ve volunteered at the Reflections Gift Shop at Milford Memorial Hospital for the past 19 years. When people come into the store, I’m happy to help them find what they need. Since the Milford Memorial Auxiliary donates the shop’s proceeds to the hospital, I know I’m helping all of the patients and our entire community.”

Victoria Erb’s Passion is Creating Smiles
For the past six years I have volunteered at Bayhealth visiting with patients. I always greet them with a huge smile. After listening, chatting and spending time with them, they are smiling too. That is when I know I have made a difference.”
– Bayhealth Volunteer Victiora Erb.
