This year’s program is co-provided with “The Delaware End-of-Life Coalition.”  Pre-registration is required. Go to for registration and online payment.

$35 program fee includes continental breakfast, program guide, and 1.5 nursing contact hours.  For an additional fee, 3.0 CE’s are available by registering online following the program and entering an attendance code to the Hospice Foundation of America (HFA).  Various specialties are approved for continuing education through HFA.

Target Audience: Clinicians, administrators, and other staff working in hospice and palliative care, hospitals, long-term care and assisted living facilities.

1.5 nursing contact hours will be offered by Bayhealth for the panel discussion. 

Bayhealth is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Delaware Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Panel Discussion Objectives

1. Discuss the meaning of storytelling and its application to military storytelling at end-of-life.
2.  Describe hospice and palliative care services provided at the Wilmington VA Medical Center.
3.  Explain how serious illness and tragic events can impact the individual experiencing signs of post-traumatic stress disorder.
