We invite you to join us for the 6th Annual Bayhealth Nursing Research Conference. This year’s theme is nurse fatigue, stress, burnout, and their effects on quality patient care.

Keynote Speaker Dr. Jeanne Geiger-Brown, University of Maryland School of Nursing, will address nurse fatigue and patient safety.  

Dr. Cynthia Diefenbeck, University of Delaware School of Nursing, will address nurse burnout, and Carol Martin, MBA, Quality and Patient Safety Officer with North Country Health System, Newport, VT, will present an evidence-based approach to medication reconciliation.

The afternoon’s podium presentations will provide practical insights into nursing research. The day will conclude with a panel discussion titled “Up Close and Personal: Stress, Burnout and Impact on Quality of Care.”

Representatives from Drexel University, Wesley College, University of Delaware, and University of Phoenix will be on hand to provide information about nursing-related course offerings.

A continental breakfast and lunch are included.  Additionally, 5.33 nursing contact hours are offered for this conference.  

The cost of the conference is $70 ($40 for full-time students).
