Heartsaver Adult First Aid

This American Heart Association course is designed to teach rescuers the knowledge and psychomotor skills they need to recognize emergencies and give first aid.  The first aid section covers general principles, medical emergencies, injuries, and environmental emergencies.  A course completion card is issued for this course with recertification every two years.

Participants must be at least 14 years old.  Textbook for the class can be purchased at the hospital Retail Shop - it is recommended to purchase the book 7 days prior to class for review.  REQUIREMENT: TEXTBOOK MUST BE BROUGHT TO CLASS.  PARTICIPANTS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED IN CLASS WITHOUT A TEXTBOOK.
