About Bayhealth Medical Center

Bayhealth’s mission is to improve the health status of all members of the Bayhealth community. Central and Southern Delaware’s largest healthcare system, Bayhealth is comprised of Kent General and Milford Memorial Hospitals, numerous satellite facilities and many employed physician practices encompassing a variety of specialties. 

Bayhealth is a technologically advanced not-for-profit healthcare system more than 3,100 employees and a medical staff of 425 physicians.

In Fiscal Year 2011, Bayhealth recorded 77,309 emergency department visits, 17,373 patients admitted to beds, 2,322 births, and provided $38,480,397 in unreimbursed care to patients.
