Surgical Services

Bayhealth provides surgical services at both Kent General and Milford Memorial Hospitals.

Bayhealth’s Day Surgery facilities allow patients to come in the day of surgery. After admission, the procedure is performed and the patient moves directly to a hospital bed if necessary. Many patients can leave the hospital only a few hours after surgery to recover in their own homes with family and friends. For other patients, a short inpatient stay is necessary.
