Bayhealth Affiliations

Bayhealth is a member of the Penn Cancer Network, a select group of community hospitals throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. This collaboration provides our community with easier access to university level cancer care and access to Penn’s global leaders in cancer research and treatment.

Bayhealth is an affiliate member of the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG) through Penn’s Abramson Cancer Center of the University of Pennsylvania’s main membership in ECOG.

Bayhealth is an affiliate of the University of Pennsylvania Health System - Penn Cardiac Care.

Since 2005, Bayhealth has partnered with Planetree to provide patient-centered care in a healing environment. Some Planetree components Bayhealth has introduced to aid in the healing process are:

  • Less restrictive, patient-directed visitation
  • Pet assisted visitation
  • Aromatherapy
  • Free valet parking
  • Barbers and beauticians available upon request
  • Arts and entertainment
     

 

Bayhealth Medical Center is Southern Delaware’s healthcare leader with hospitals in Dover and in Milford.
