Four-part series that explores the many phases of diabetes. “Diabetes and You” will help you learn about diabetes, recognize warning signs, blood glucose monitoring, foot care, medication-insulin and pills, complications and feeling better about yourself and your disease. This program has been recognized by the American Diabetes Association, which means it meets stringent Standards of Care Criteria. Diabetes Insulin Pump Club of Lower Delaware Diabetes Programs

Rehab Conference Room Second Wednesday of every month (except July and August) from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

About 66,000 Delawareans are believed to have diabetes, but only 45,000 have been diagnosed. You may not have diabetes, but would you bet your life on it? Find out for sure at a free screening. Bayhealth Medical Center offers free diabetes screenings every Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the following locations:
•Kent General Hospital Outpatient Services Department, 640 South State Street in Dover
•Milford Memorial Hospital Outpatient Services Department, 21 West Clarke Avenue in Milford
