Bayhealth Medical Center, Inc. has entered into a management agreement with SleepCare Centers, Inc. This affiliation enhances the accessibility and quality of sleep study services in Delaware. Bayhealth, the second largest healthcare system in Delaware, and SleepCare, a regional organization specializing in the management of sleep labs, have formed Bayhealth SleepCare Centers which will be owned by Bayhealth and managed by SleepCare.
Bayhealth’s SleepCare Centers will operate up to seven days a week in six locations:
- Milford Memorial Hospital
- Kent General Hospital
- 1110 Forrest Avenue in Dover
- 1407 Foulk Road in Wilmington
- 2500 Wrangle Hill Road in Bear
- 291 Carter Drive in Middletown
All Bayhealth SleepCare Centers offer state-of-the-art sleep disorder testing, including overnight sleep testing and daytime multiple sleep latency testing for adults and children suffering from sleep deprivation and illness resulting from sleep disorders. Common sleep disorder symptoms include interrupted breathing while asleep, excessive daytime sleepiness, loud snoring, chronic fatigue, headache or confusion when awakening, continual awakening during the night, sleep terrors or nightmares, fatigue or non-refreshing sleep, nighttime leg cramps, and anxiety.
