Sara Knoll is from Memphis and graduated from University of Tennessee-Knoxville in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in pre-professional programs. She attended pharmacy school at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Pharmacy. She is delighted to be one of the new PGY1pharmacy residents at Bayhealth.
Through her work experience before college and during school, Knoll learned early on that she found the most rewarding work was done while serving others. “A love of science and people led me to the profession of pharmacy and I never looked back,” Knoll said. “The field of pharmacy has challenged not only my science knowledge, but also my communication and problem solving skills. I thoroughly enjoy the ever-changing nature of medical knowledge and the opportunity to help others live healthier lives.”
Knoll has an interest in oncology, emergency medicine and teaching. She looks forward to developing her clinical skills during her residency this year. “I’m excited to begin my pharmacy residency at Bayhealth,” Knoll said. “I look forward to learning new things, meeting new people and taking another step forward in my career.”
