Your new child will soon be arriving and you want to be ready!

Bayhealth Medical Center offers a five-week labor and childbirth series for expectant mothers and their partners at Kent General and Milford Memorial.  A weekend series is also available at Kent General.

This program teaches mothers-to-be and their partners what to expect during the labor and delivery process for both natural childbirth and Caesarean section.  This includes professional instruction by a Certified Professional Childbirth Educator, all materials and a tour of the Maternal/Child unit including the birthing suites.  Participants should wear comfortable clothes and bring TWO pillows and a blanket. 

Mothers-to-be are encouraged to call early in their pregnancy to register for an available class.  Pre-registration is required by calling Bayhealth’s Education Department at (302) 744-7135 or toll-free at 1-877-453-7107.
