Tobacco Cessation

What is the Tobacco Cessation Program?
This seven week program offers you support and guidance to quit using all tobacco products now! You do not quit until the 4th week of the program. This series offers strategies to improve your lifestyle through behavior modification, diet, stress reduction, exercise, and nicotine replacement therapy.

This program is free to all Delaware Residents. Call 1-877-453-7107 to register. You must be at least 18 years old to register and able to attend all sessions. For questions and more information, contact Terry Towne, MSN, RN-BC, NE-BC Clinical Educator at 302-744-6724.

This program is made possible through the Delaware Division of Public Health’s Tobacco Prevention Community Contract. Funding for the Contract is provided by the Delaware Health Fund and managed by the American Lung Association of Delaware.

Delaware Division of Public Health (DPH)
DPH offers the Delaware Smoking Quitline to help smokers age 18 and older quit smoking. You may receive either telephone or face-to-face counseling from a tobacco specialist who will assess your needs, explore cessation options and determine the best treatment plan for you.
