(HealthDay News) -- A slippery floor in the bathroom is all it takes to end up on your back with a broken bone or bad sprain.
Womenshealth.gov suggests how to help prevent falls in the bathroom:
Make sure there are grab bars next to the toilet, and both inside and outside the tub or shower.
Put carpeting or nonslip strips or mats on any place that's prone to getting wet.
Keep nightlights on in the bathroom.
