Bayhealth congratulates the first class to complete the PeriOp101 Operating Room Nursing Fellowship.

The Perioperative Fellowship is based on the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN) “Periop 101” curriculum.
In addition to online modules provided by AORN, Bayhealth OR fellows build experience through skills lab sessions. They participate in all perioperative nursing roles.
The program requires a 7-week didactic component and then an 8-month rotation with an experienced preceptor, or teacher. Hands-on exposure to specialized equipment and techniques are a large part of the program.
At the end of the program, all fellows must pass a proctored exam given through AORN.
The graduates are listed below.

Jean "Nikki" Knipple, RN, BSN
Kasey Babcock, RN
Crystal Vicidomini, RN
Devon Harmon, RN, BSN
