Center for Women and Infants at Kent General Hospital

Kent General’s two-story Center for Women and Infants opened in 2005 and provides state-of-the-art women’s services and critical care to neonatal infants.   

The fifth floor houses 10 labor/delivery rooms in the birth center and 15 neonatal intensive care beds.  All labor/delivery rooms have private bathrooms, entertainment centers and a sleeper sofa for the support person.   

The sixth floor is devoted to maternity/women’s services and has 26 private rooms, with sofa beds for the patient’s husband or significant other to spend the night.

Milford Memorial’s Center for Women and Infants offers high-quality maternity services to provide an enriching birthing experience.  Here, we offer the convenience of giving birth and recovering in the same room, a Labor, Deliver, Recover and Post-Partum (LDRP) Suite.
