Welcome, new doctors

Since the Bayhealth Sussex Campus plans began taking shape, recruiting new medical talent has been a top priority. Numerous doctors have been hired, and more are expected to come on board in the coming months and years in order to better meet the demands of southern Delaware growth, and to help us meet our goal to expand the network of services and care downstate.

We’ve recruited top doctors in their fields to provide primary care to keep you and your family at your healthiest, diagnose and treat what’s been troubling you, and help maximize your functionality. Here’s a snapshot of how we’ve been growing our team to better serve you:

• Boosted physician recruitment efforts beginning in early 2016
• Hired more than 20 new doctors including primary care, OB-GYN, emergency medicine, and specialty physicians
• Provided access to new specialist services: brand-new dermatology practice, pediatric orthopaedics, and neurology and neurosurgery
• Continued recruitment of doctors in primary care, including pediatrics and women’s care, gastroenterology, general surgery, and surgery subspecialties such as ENT
