Bayhealth is comprised of two hospitals: Bayhealth Hospital, Kent Campus and Bayhealth Hospital, Sussex Campus. We have formed partnerships with area hospitals for specialty rotations.
Bayhealth Hospital, Kent Campus
Bayhealth’s Kent Campus offers a comprehensive array of services to the residents of Central Delaware, including cardiac surgery and diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations; endovascular surgery; da Vinci® Xi™ Surgical System; neurosurgery; family-centered birth services and neonatal care; cancer care; orthopedic and rehabilitation services; advanced digital imaging; inpatient and outpatient medical and surgical care; intensive, intermediate and coronary care; and a 24-hour emergency department.
Bayhealth Hospital, Kent Campus is a 317-bed facility which includes a level III trauma Emergency Department.
Bayhealth Hospital, Sussex Campus
Bayhealth’s Sussex Campus offers a comprehensive array of services to the residents of Central and Southern Delaware, including an interventional room for radiologic and cardiac procedures; da Vinci® Si ™ Surgical System; inpatient rehabilitation; family-centered birth services and women’s services, including an obstetrical emergency department; general surgery; cancer care; gastroenterology; orthopedic and rehabilitation services; advanced digital imaging; inpatient and outpatient medical and surgical care; intensive and intermediate; and a 24-hour emergency department.
Bayhealth Hospital, Sussex Campus is a 128 private-patient-room facility which includes a level III trauma Emergency Department.
Bayhealth Emergency and Urgent Care Center, Total Care - Milton
Bayhealth Total Care is a comprehensive, free-standing healthcare facility serving the greater Milton, Delaware region. The site features an innovative hybrid emergency and urgent care model, delivering 24/7 access to full-service care within a single, integrated setting.
Staffed by emergency-trained physicians, Bayhealth Total Care provides evaluation and treatment for a broad spectrum of low- to moderate-acuity conditions, offering residents exposure to diverse clinical presentations and efficient care delivery outside the traditional hospital emergency department. The clinical approach emphasizes accurate diagnosis of underlying conditions, evidence-based decision-making, and timely initiation of appropriate treatment plans.
This care model supports a dynamic learning environment where residents can develop skills in acute care management, diagnostic reasoning, and patient-centered care, while serving the healthcare needs of a growing community.
