Welcome from Program Director Bryan Choi, MD, MPH
Thank you for your interest in Bayhealth’s Emergency Medicine Residency Program. When you come to Bayhealth you will learn how to deliver cutting-edge emergency care, critical care and pre-hospital care in our Level III trauma center. Our goal is to educate our future emergency physicians to provide the best possible care.
Mission
The Bayhealth Medical Center Emergency Medicine Residency Program prepares compassionate, highly skilled emergency physicians to provide exceptional patient care while serving the southern Delaware community. While bedside practice remains the foundation of resident education, faculty will also help develop their skills through scholarly inquiry, organized learning, simulations and evaluations.
The faculty will integrate resident training with community specialists and support each resident as they establish local ties and relationships. Residents are encouraged to pursue lifelong learning, establish meaningful community connections and make a lasting impact on the patients and communities they serve.
At Bayhealth, our commitment is guided by:
- Our Promise: Driven to bring the nation's best healthcare to our communities here at home.
- Our Mission: Strengthen the health of our community one life at a time.
- Our Vision: Deliver the nation's best healthcare to our communities here in Delaware.
