Didactics

Students will enjoy structured lecture and simulation time throughout the year. While on inpatient, family medicine, general surgery, and emergency medicine rotations students will join residents in their didactic sessions. Additionally, the UME team schedules student-only lectures and simulation activities aimed at providing students with board preparation and time to practice hands-on skills before they encounter clinical situations in the field. Students also receive monthly wellness lectures with the UME program director and a physician wellness consultant.
