Bhavin R. Dave, MD, is an experienced gastroenterologist.
Dr. Dave has been a community physician, providing compassionate care to patients for their gastroenterology needs, for more than twenty years. During his residency training, he recognized the significant and dangerous impact of colorectal cancer and has always been passionate about reducing its incidence in his local community.
Dr. Dave’s philosophy of care is simple—keeping his patients’ interests’ and wellbeing his top priority. He takes time to carefully explain and provide informational materials to educate his patients. He knows this can go a long way in helping them to embrace preventative measures and understand how procedures and treatments can benefit them. Follow-up care is an equally important component of his process in following an individualized treatment plan for each patient.
Among the specialized services he offers, Dr. Dave performs double-look colonoscopy, known to enhance detection of certain kinds of polyps and aid in identifying colorectal cancer. He commonly treats irritable bowel syndrome, liver diseases including hepatitis C and GERD, pancreatic disorders, and offers colorectal cancer screenings.
Dr. Dave has a love of astrophysics and quantum physics. In his free time, he also enjoys baking many different kinds of unique breads.
