Awards & Recognitions
Bayhealth has been recognized as a national leader in digital health performance, earning Acute Level 8 and Ambulatory Level 9 distinctions in the 2025 Digital Health Most Wired Survey from the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME). These achievements place Bayhealth among the top health systems in the country for technology integration, digital strategy and measurable impact on patient care.
This year’s survey introduced an enhanced methodology designed to reflect the rapidly evolving digital health landscape. The updated framework raises expectations and allows for more precise measurement of digital capabilities across similar organizations. Despite these elevated standards, Bayhealth’s strong performance highlights the health system’s continued excellence and leadership in digital transformation.
“This isn’t an IT or a technology award. This is an award that recognizes Bayhealth’s technology adoption for measurable impact across infrastructure, cybersecurity, analytics, interoperability, patient engagement and clinical quality,” said Interim CIO Ron Belfont, MS, CISSP, CHCIO, CDH-E, CLSSGB, ITIL, CPM. “This recognizes Bayhealth’s commitment to leverage technology to improve both patient outcomes and the patient experience.”
The new survey structure also provides organizations with clearer direction for continued growth. As part of the 2025 recognition, Bayhealth will receive access to detailed dashboards and benchmark reports through the CHIME Digital Health Analytics portal. These insights will help guide strategic digital health investments and shape future initiatives.
Bayhealth’s recognitions were celebrated at the CHIME Fall Forum in November alongside other leaders in the digital health space.
