Cardiologist Patel Joins Bayhealth Medical Group

Bayhealth Medical Group is proud to welcome cardiologist Krunalkumar Patel, MD, to the team. Dr. Patel joins a group of dedicated clinicians at Bayhealth Cardiology, Dover, Governors Avenue committed to providing patient-centered care and improving heart health in the community.

Dr. Patel is passionate about building trusting partnerships with his patients in their heart health—from prioritizing preventative care to avoid problems, and treating issues with the latest in evidence-based medicine when they arise.

He comes to Bayhealth after completing a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Nazareth Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he was Chief Fellow. Before his fellowship, Dr. Patel completed a research fellowship in cardiology at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York followed by an internal medicine residency at Saint Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Patel began his medical training in at Smolensk State Medical University in Russia followed by an internship at Byramjee Jeejeebhoy Medical College at New Civil Hospital in India. He practiced clinically as a hospitalist in India before moving to the United States to pursue a cardiology specialty.
