The U.S. News Best Home Health ratings are based on a rigorous, data-driven methodology using information from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The evaluation combines:
- Quality of care metrics, including timeliness of care and rates of preventable hospitalizations
- Patient experience scores derived from CAHPS (Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems) surveys
Together, these measures provide an objective view of how effectively agencies deliver care and support recovery at home. Since partnering in 2017, Bayhealth and BAYADA have worked together to ensure patients transitioning from hospital to home receive personalized, clinically excellent care. This includes skilled nursing, rehabilitation therapies and support services designed to help patients recover from illness, injury or surgery while avoiding unnecessary hospital readmissions.

Services are typically covered by Medicare, Medicaid, and many commercial insurance plans, with staff available to guide patients through coverage and payment options.
