Bayhealth Wins Prestigious 2026 Swaay.Health Award for Scrub In Podcast

Bayhealth announced its Scrub In Podcast has been named 2026 Podcast of the Year by Swaay.Health. The award was presented live during the annual Swaay.Health LIVE event in Foxboro, Massachusetts.

The Swaay.Health Awards celebrate the achievements, excellence and creativity of healthcare marketers, public relations professionals, communications leaders and patient experience advocates nationwide. Bayhealth was recognized specifically for the Scrub In Podcast, which highlights inspiring stories, expert insights and meaningful conversations with clinicians and healthcare professionals while promoting healthier communities through education and storytelling.

“Our entire team brings incredible talent and innovation to this work, and I was honored to accept this on behalf of all of us,” said Bayhealth Multimedia Production Coordinator Rachel Bowman, MBA. “We built this from the ground up: designing the space, writing, producing, editing, promoting and scheduling while learning each step of podcast production along the way.”

Bowman also credited Amanda Bowie, Vice President of Marketing, Communications and Community Outreach, for her leadership and support throughout the project. “Amanda’s support for this project and her trust in me and our team to run with this has been a driving factor,” Bowman said.

Launched through a collaborative vision between Bowman and the Bayhealth nursing team, the Scrub In Podcast was created to inspire healthcare professionals and reconnect listeners with their “why.” The podcast has since expanded its reach to broader audiences by sharing stories and expertise from Bayhealth clinicians and leaders. The podcast is ranked among the top 5% of podcasts globally on ListenScore and has also become a meaningful recruitment and engagement tool for Bayhealth.

The 2026 awards program recognized standout healthcare organizations and professionals for innovation, creativity and meaningful audience engagement across the industry.
