Alexandra Kwan, PA-C, is a physician assistant who sees patients needing care for vascular surgery.
A southern Delaware native, Kwan knew there was a need for healthcare professionals in her rapidly expanding community. As a graduate of University of Delaware with a bachelor’s in biology, she discovered her passion after learning the crucial role physician assistants play in improving public health. Kwan received her master’s of medical science from Arcadia University in 2021 and returned to Delaware to provide care to her local community.
Kwan’s approach to care is collaborative and unique to each patient’s diagnosis. By working closely with the physician, Kwan provides a specialized treatment plan to fit the patient’s needs. She takes pride in being part of the growing vascular program at Bayhealth Hospital, Sussex Campus.
When Kwan is not seeing patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three dogs, running, visiting the beach, and watching her favorite TV shows.
