Angela Debo, DO, is a family medicine doctor who provides primary care to patients of all ages.
Dr. Debo grew up in Dover, Delaware. At a young age she developed an interest in becoming a physician. As one that always likes to learn new things and connect with people, she was drawn to the medical field because it is constantly evolving, and every workday and every patient are unique.
Dr. Debo graduated from Dover High School and University of Delaware, then went on to complete her medical schooling in Philadelphia. She was thrilled for the opportunity to come back to Delaware and Bayhealth, where she had previously done a few clinical rotations, to practice medicine and take care of her hometown community.
What Dr. Debo enjoys most about family medicine is the ability to build lifelong bonds that benefit patients on their health journeys. She enjoys caring for whole families and has a clinical interest in women’s health and prenatal care, as well as taking care of babies and children as they grow up.
Dr. Debo considers the doctor-patient relationship to be a partnership. She strives to meet each patient where they are and work closely with them over the years in decision-making and plans that optimize their health and wellbeing. The most rewarding moments to her are when patients successfully make changes in their life that strengthen their health and feel proud of their accomplishments.
In her spare time, Dr. Debo can usually be found spending quality time with her husband, who is also a Bayhealth doctor, and their young son and two little dogs. She also enjoys outings to the local beaches.
