My Inspiration  

My background in exercise science inspired me to pursue a career as an orthopedic physician assistant. I have always enjoyed helping people stay active and improve their physical health, and becoming a PA has allowed me to do that in a meaningful way.

What I’m Passionate About  

I am passionate about helping patients return to an active life after an injury or setback. With my background in exercise science and personal love of sports, I enjoy guiding patients through recovery and helping them safely get back to fitness and competition, or other activities they enjoy. Depending on each patient’s goal and lifestyle, that may include injury rehabilitation, exercise modifications and non-surgical treatment options such as physical therapy, cortisone injections, bracing, medications or customized exercise programs.

Off the Clock

  When I’m not working, I love spending time with my family and friends. My wife and son keep me busy, and we enjoy outdoor activities such as camping, hiking and spending time at the beach. Soccer has been a lifelong passion of mine, and I continue to enjoy both playing and following the sport. My family is from El Salvador and I am bilingual in English and Spanish. I am very proud of my heritage and like staying connected with the Latino community.
