My Inspiration

After years of working as a bedside nurse in cardiac units across the country, I was drawn to advanced practice because I knew I could do even more for my patients. Continuing my career in cardiology felt like a natural next step. Cardiovascular disease also runs in my family, which has inspired me to deepen my understanding of the disease process and help ensure my patients receive the best care and education possible.

What I'm Passionate About

I’m passionate about making patient education approachable and easy to understand. I also have a special interest and experience in vascular medicine, including the diagnosis and management of venous disease and lymphedema. I enjoy combining a holistic approach with evidence-based medicine to empower patients to make informed decisions about their health and improve their quality of life.

Off the Clock

My husband and I are both originally from Delaware, and after spending years traveling around the country for his career in the Air Force, we’re thrilled to be putting down roots here with our family. Outside of work, I spend as much time as I can with my family. I also enjoy gardening, crocheting, baking and caring for our chickens with my kids.

My Commitment to You

I am committed to helping patients feel informed, supported and confident in their care. I believe fully understanding a diagnosis and how to manage it is essential, especially when living with a chronic condition. Building meaningful relationships with my patients and helping them improve their health and quality of life is one of the most important parts of what I do.
