Lisa Pollock, LPCMH, is a licensed professional counselor of mental health. She takes appointments for current patients of the Bayhealth at Blue Hen practices in Dover.

My Inspiration

I am honored to support the people in our community and grateful to work in a field rooted in advocacy, self-determination and inclusion. I am continually inspired by the resilience within each person and value the opportunity to walk alongside others as they navigate their individual journeys toward wellness.

What I’m Passionate About

I am passionate about building meaningful connections and gaining an understanding of each person’s unique story and perspective. My therapeutic foundation is grounded in person-centered approaches and incorporates techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing and solution focused practices. I believe we all have an innate capacity for healing and that professionals can serve as a compass helping to guide, encourage and empower individuals as they move toward their goals.

Off the Clock

Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, gardening, traveling and most importantly spending time with my family. I consider myself a lifelong learner and often read for both personal enrichment and professional growth.
