About
My Inspiration
I was drawn to the field of infectious disease early in medical school after seeing a wide variety of infections. I enjoy the blend of clinical expertise with diagnostic workups and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a patient’s health.
What I’m Passionate About
I am passionate about treating and helping patients recover from a wide spectrum of infections including bone and joint infections, bloodstream and endovascular infections, chronic lung infections, infections in immunocompromised patients, HIV, hepatitis, sexually transmitted infections and a special interest in tick-borne illnesses like Lyme disease.
Off the Clock
Outside of medicine, I like spending quality time with family and friends and enjoy outdoor activities including horseback riding and skydiving.
My Commitment to You
Facing an infection can be overwhelming. My aim is to help patients recover from short-term or complex infectious illnesses and improve their quality of life.
