Matthew S. Fuchs, ANP-C

Matthew S. Fuchs, ANP-C, is an inpatient adult nurse practitioner who sees patients needing neurology care at Bayhealth Hospital, Kent Campus.

Fuchs knew from a young age he wanted to have a positive impact on the lives of others. He was inspired by his mother, a nurse, to continue helping the community with their healthcare needs so he become board certificated with American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. As a Kent County resident, Fuchs is honored to provide care to his family, friends and local community.

Fuchs is often the first clinician a patient encounters if they have neurological needs and understands the importance of treating each patient with respect and compassion. He finds fulfillment in aiding others during their time of need. Fuchs provides comfort to all his patients by reminding them that they are not alone as they navigate their health journey.

When Fuchs is not seeing patients, he spends his time coaching baseball, basketball and football.
