My Inspiration

I chose to become an advanced practice clinician to build on my experience in critical care nursing and expand my role in patient care. My background at the bedside shaped how I approach medicine today. I was drawn to cardiology because the cardiovascular system affects nearly every other part of the body, allowing for a comprehensive, whole-person approach to care.

I am passionate about helping patients understand their health and care plans so they feel informed and confident in their decisions. During times of illness, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed, and I strive to make each visit clear, supportive and collaborative. Building trust and staying current with best practices are central to how I care for patients.

Off the Clock

I grew up in a military family and had the opportunity to experience many cultures and perspectives. Those experiences shaped my appreciation for diversity and my commitment to creating a safe, welcoming environment for every patient.
