About
My Inspiration
I chose a career in medicine because caring for others has always been important to me. Growing up, I was inspired by my mother’s work as a pediatric nurse and my father’s dedication to volunteering in the community. Their example shaped my belief in service and helping people in meaningful ways.
What I’m Passionate About
I have a strong interest in hematology, including both noncancerous and cancer related conditions, as well as immunology. I enjoy working through complex diagnoses and learning what makes each patient’s situation unique. Building lasting relationships with patients and working closely with a care team are aspects of my work that I find especially rewarding.
My Commitment to You
I am committed to providing care that feels thoughtful, clear and dependable. I believe patients should feel comfortable asking questions and receiving information that is easy to understand. I take responsibility for my patients’ care and strive to be present and available to both them and their families. My goal is for every patient to feel informed, respected and supported at every stage of care.
Off the Clock
When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time on interests that help me recharge. These include history, gardening, astronomy, hiking and being near the ocean. I’m also a big fan of the Philadelphia 76ers and Philadelphia Eagles.
