Timothy Eden, DNP, APRN, ANP-BC, AGACNP-BC, SCRN, is a board-certified nurse practitioner who provides brain and spine neurosurgical care.
His passion for nursing developed during his time in the United States Marine Corps as he interacted with Navy Corpsman. He earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from the University of Delaware in 2000 and 2007, respectively. He completed his Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at Wilmington University in 2017 and an adult gerontology acute care nurse practitioner post-master’s certificate program at the University of Pennsylvania in 2020.
With more than two decades of nursing experience in solid tumor and hematology/oncology, primary care, and neurovascular/neurological surgical services, Timothy is proud to deliver high quality, patient-centered healthcare to patients from Delaware and surrounding states. He provides neurosurgical care at all stages, including before and during surgery, and through follow-up appointments after a procedure.
Timothy enjoys mentoring nurses and nurse practitioner students in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. He is an affiliated faculty member with University of Delaware’s School of Nursing and an adjunct associate professor at Wilmington University. He also enjoys volunteering with Delaware Medical Reserve Corps to improve delivery of care in our communities statewide.
