Same-Day Mammograms
Make time for your breast health this October. Bayhealth is hosting special Go Pink! screening events in Dover and Milford, offering free clinical breast exams and the opportunity to receive a same-day screening mammogram when recommended.
Same-day mammogram appointments are limited. If you receive a referral and a same-day appointment is not available, your referral can be used to schedule a future screening mammogram.
The Bayhealth Cancer Institute encourages women 40 and older to stay up to date with annual screening mammograms.
Dover | Saturday, Oct. 10
Time: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Location: Bayhealth Women’s Imaging Center, 540 S. Governors Ave., Suite 200, Dover
Details: Receive a free clinical breast exam and, if a screening mammogram is recommended, the opportunity to receive your mammogram that same day.
Milford | Thursday, Oct. 22
Time: 10 a.m. to noon
Location: Calvary Church, 301 S.E. Front St., Milford
Details: Join us during Healthy Neighbor Days for a free clinical breast exam and food distribution. If a screening mammogram is recommended, same-day appointments will be available from 1-3 p.m. at Bayhealth Women’s Imaging Center, Milford.
Registration is preferred, but walk-ins are welcome. Insurance will be billed for screening mammograms when applicable. Financial assistance is available through the Bayhealth Cancer Institute’s screening program for those without insurance.
