Providing safe, high-quality imaging to the community

At Bayhealth, we never forget there’s a person behind each image. From the imaging procedure to explaining a diagnosis, we treat you with respect and care. We also provide you with expert, high-quality, advanced and accredited imaging services, and do it with your safety in mind.

Results read by expert eyes

We have highly trained physicians and staff on site. Our fellowship trained radiologists have undergone years of training at prestigious institutions, including Johns Hopkins, Penn and Harvard. This allows our doctors to offer expertise in neurological, interventional, musculoskeletal, breast, and many other areas of imaging that require intense training. Our doctors work alongside professional technologists who are certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). All of our imaging units are evaluated and accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR); have the newest, most-up-to-date technology; produce the highest quality images and are designed for patients’ specific needs.

Your safety is our priority

Bayhealth’s Imaging department utilizes what’s called “dose reduction” software that reduces the amount of radiation a patient is exposed to during a study. To further ensure safety, Bayhealth participates in national initiatives such as Image Wisely and Image Gently that aim to reduce radiation exposure and eliminate unnecessary scans and procedures.

Convenience is also important

Same-day and next-day imaging appointments are offered at our multiple Imaging Centers located throughout Delaware. Patients may also access their imaging results via MyChart. And if you have your imaging done at Bayhealth, our physicians and medical staff have quick and easy access to your past imaging results, which can save everyone time and money, especially in situations requiring emergency care after regular business hours.
