Bayhealth Cardiovascular Diagnostics, Sussex Campus

At the Bayhealth Heart & Vascular Institute, we are committed to providing accurate and timely heart testing through teamwork and advanced technology. We have several locations across Kent and Sussex counties, each offering a range of heart screenings. The following tests are available at Bayhealth Cardiovascular Diagnostics, Sussex Campus:

• Electrocardiogram (ECG): This test checks the electrical signals in your heart to see if your heartbeat is normal.

• Echocardiogram: A device uses sound waves to make a picture of your heart. It shows if your heart and valves are working the right way.

• Cardiac Monitor: This is a small device you wear on your chest. It records your heart’s activity for one day to 30 days.

• Cardiac Stress Test: This test checks how your heart works when you exercise and then when you rest.

• Multiple Gated Acquisition (MUGA) Scan: A small amount of radioactive material is used to take pictures of your heart. It shows how well your heart pumps blood when you rest or after exercise.
