She was an operational leader for the Coronavirus Management Team (CMT) which fielded phone calls, drive thru testing, and vaccinations for the community during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Perry started her over 30 year healthcare leadership career as a medical transcriptionist in her hometown of Pittsburgh, PA. In working in all segments of practice operations, she became a multi-faceted leader. Before joining Bayhealth in 2019, Perry spent more than 18 years with UPMC, the Pittsburgh-based healthcare provider and insurer. In her time there, she earned several progressive leadership roles including Program Director for Bariatric Surgery, Director of Practice Management, Practice Administrator and Executive Administrator. Perry is relationship focused and has grown an experienced, cohesive team of leaders. “Mentoring the next-generation leader fuels my spirit,” says Perry. She is the executive sponsor for the new Bayhealth Administrative Fellowship program starting in 2024. “It is an amazing feeling to make a positive impact on someone and hearing that they earned a degree or a promotion. I save all of the cards and letters I have received over my career, and fondly recall those relationships and those who mentored me.”

Perry holds two degrees from Carlow University—a BS in business management, information technology, and human resources as well as an MBA.

Among her passions outside of work, she enjoys connecting with nature through photography, hiking, and kayaking. She and her husband reside in Dover and enjoy supporting local business and the community.  She has been named the honorary chair of the 2024 Meals on Wheels Delaware Annual Hats and Heels Event.
