Bayhealth Welcomes Neurologist

Bayhealth is pleased to welcome Board-certified Neurologist Rakesh Jaitly, MD, to its team. Dr. Jaitly joins Ali Sheharyar, MD; Usman Shehzad, MD; Jessica Lowe, MD; Ahmad Jamal Mahmoud Sawalha, MD; and Abraham Scheer, MD, in the Bayhealth Neurology practice with locations in Dover and Milford. Dr. Jaitly treats a range of neurological disorders and offers post-stroke care, and is currently accepting new patients.

“We are very pleased that Dr. Jaitly has joined our talented team of specialists at Bayhealth Neurology,” said Bayhealth Senior Director of Neurosciences Adam Spengler, MHA. “Dr. Jaitly is highly experienced in treating neurological conditions as well as stroke, and is helping us expand upon our ability to improve the health of our community members with these types of conditions.”

Dr. Jaitly comes to Bayhealth from the Department of Neurology at Georgetown University in Washington D.C. He earned his medical degree from Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial Medical College in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India. He completed a neurology residency followed by a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia. Dr. Jaitly is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is also a member of the American Academy of Neurology.
