Bayhealth Marketing Team Wins National Graphic Design Awards
Bayhealth’s Marketing team has been recognized on a national stage, earning two 2025 Graphic Design USA (GDUSA) Health and Wellness Awards. The honors highlight the team’s creativity, collaboration and dedication to connecting with the community through design and communication.
The awards recognized Bayhealth’s Go Pink campaign and its Scrub In podcast. The Go Pink campaign brought awareness to breast cancer prevention and care, while the Scrub In podcast highlights conversations with clinicians and team members across the system.
Heather Nunery, Bayhealth Multimedia Graphic and UX Designer, said the recognition reflects not only her personal commitment but also the collective strength of the team.
“Personally, it means the world to me. As a designer, being recognized among some of the best in the nation is an incredible honor,” Nunery said. “For our Marketing team, it shows that our ideas, strategies and collaborations are not only impactful locally but also respected on a national stage.”
Nunery emphasized that both projects were fueled by teamwork. The Go Pink campaign paired strong strategy with bold visuals, while the Scrub In project allowed the team to collaborate across roles to develop a compelling design.
“What set these campaigns apart is the trust, creativity and teamwork behind them – that’s what turned them into award-winning work,” she said.
Bayhealth’s mission is centered on improving the health of the community. Nunery said thoughtful design plays an important role in advancing that mission.
“Design and visual communication play a vital role in connecting with people emotionally, building trust and ultimately guiding them toward healthier decisions,” she said. “If even one person feels inspired or reassured by something we’ve created, then I feel we’ve fulfilled our purpose.”

Amanda Bowie, MSM, vice president of Marketing, Communications & Community Outreach, praised the team’s achievement. “I’m proud of our Marketing and Communications team for earning two Graphic Design USA awards,” Bowie said. “These honors reflect not only the creativity and collaboration that make our work fun and inspiring, but also the meaningful purpose behind everything we do. Every project starts with the patient in mind and is driven by our heart for the community we serve. Healthcare marketing may look different than care at the bedside, but it’s another way we live out our passion for making a difference.”
The GDUSA recognition places Bayhealth’s work in the top 10 percent of entries nationwide. Nunery said that motivates the team to continue producing meaningful creative projects that inspire trust and support Bayhealth’s mission.
“While we may be small in size, we are mighty in ideas,” Nunery said. “Recognition like this fuels our creativity and strengthens our drive to continue producing work that matters.”
