Bayhealth Orthopedics Welcomes Podiatrist and Foot and Ankle Specialist

Bayhealth is pleased to welcome Michael Griesser, DPM, to its Bayhealth Orthopedics, Smyrna practice. Dr. Griesser is a board-certified podiatrist and specialist in foot and ankle conditions, both surgical and non-surgical, for adults and children. He also provides care at the Bayhealth Wound Care, Kent Campus, treating wounds of the lower extremity and limb salvage. He is accepting new patients.

Bayhealth Orthopedics is part of Bayhealth Medical Group, a partnership of highly trained physicians and advanced practice clinicians and teams that operates medical offices throughout Delaware.

Prior to joining the Bayhealth Orthopedics practice, Dr. Griesser spent 12 years working in private practice podiatry medicine and surgery locally and at health systems in the mid-Atlantic region such as Insprira Health Network in Vineland, New Jersey and Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics in Baltimore, Maryland. He is experienced in treating complex adult and pediatric deformities and in performing corrective foot and ankle procedures and a range of surgeries including ankle arthroscopy, joint fusions and implants, tendon repairs and flatfoot reconstruction, among others.

Dr. Griesser has a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He has board certification from the Board of Podiatric Medicine and is board certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
