Bayhealth is partnering with Free Bikes 4 Kidz (FB4K) Delaware, a nonprofit organization geared toward helping all kids ride into a happier, healthier childhood by providing donated bikes to those most in need.
As we all know, developing healthy movement habits early is so important. Regular physical activity can help children build strong bones, improve cardio fitness, reduce the symptoms of anxiety and depression, and much more.
While the simple thrill of riding a bike is one that often motivates kids to move, many kids don't have a bike to ride.
We're bringing community members and resources together to collect bikes and distribute them along with helmets to kids in need identified by local charities. This collaboration gives more than just a bike—we're providing a healthier future for children as we carry out our Bayhealth mission—to strengthen the health of our community, one life at a time.

Donate a Bike
Have a gently used bike taking up space in your garage or shed? Consider donating it to FB4K Delaware. Volunteers will refurbish bikes if needed and get them to local kids in need through various youth-serving non-profits and organizations in our area. If we don't have a bike drop-off event coming up, email Tom@FB4KDelaware.org to make arrangements for a bike donation.
