My Inspiration

OB/GYN can be a fantastic mix of medicine and surgery, but caring for complicated pregnancies has always been the part of the field I found most compelling. I also became more interested in prenatal diagnosis and ultrasound, particularly cardiac imaging. That interest led me to pursue fellowship training in maternal-fetal medicine, where I could focus on complex pregnancies and advanced prenatal care. 

What I’m Passionate About

As a maternal-fetal medicine specialist, we work with and empower our obstetricians and prenatal care clinicians throughout pregnancy and help with delivery planning. Every family has a different story and being part of their varied journeys has been incredibly fulfilling. 

Off the Clock

I was born in Delaware and spent part of my childhood in Dover before my family moved to the Philadelphia suburbs. I have lived, trained and practiced across the country, including Massachusetts, California, Virginia, Pennsylvania and Maryland, but returning to Delaware feels like coming home.

As the area continues to grow, I am committed to ensuring patients have access to compassionate, equitable and state-of-the-art maternal care close to home. Being referred to a specialist during pregnancy can be scary; it is our hope that we can reassure our patients when things are going well and that we can offer advanced diagnostics and evidence-based recommendations should any pregnancy complications arise.
