Bayhealth Medical Group is pleased to welcome Bryon Jacoby, MD, SM, a board-certified maternal fetal medicine specialist, to its expanding women’s health services team in Sussex County.
Dr. Jacoby provides specialized care for patients with high-risk pregnancies and brings more than 20 years of experience in obstetrics, prenatal diagnostics and ultrasound. He is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and maternal fetal medicine by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Dr. Jacoby was born in Delaware and spent part of his childhood in Dover. He has trained and practiced medicine in Massachusetts, California, Virginia, Pennsylvania and Maryland and returns to Delaware as Bayhealth continues to expand access to advanced specialty care in southern Delaware.

Dr. Jacoby earned his medical degree from MCP-Hahnemann School of Medicine (now Drexel University), completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency at Baystate Medical Center, and completed a maternal fetal medicine fellowship at the University of California, Davis, where he later served as an assistant professor and division director. His background also includes clinical research and academic medicine. Dr. Jacoby holds a master’s degree in infectious disease epidemiology from Harvard University.
